Whitney Sweet Water Maple Farm is a small, family-run operation. Our syrup is boiled over a wood fired arch, slower than the large commercial operations, but the longer boiling time gives our syrup a wonderful maple flavor and rich color. Most of our syrup is graded Medium Amber or B, a deep amber color and wonderful maple flavor - the true maple connoisseur's preference.
We hand-make candies, maple cream, granulated sugar (Indian sugar), coated nuts, BBQ sauce and lollipops.
We participate in Vermont's Maple Open House Weekend, which in 2012 will be March 24 and 25. We are a member of the Addison County Sugar Makers Association. Our syrup is judged annually and we have received blue ribbons for the quality, color grade and taste.
We have included the price of delivery in our products. For those that would prefer to pick up your maple goodies at our location we will remove the shipping cost.
